This is my first blog post written directly to this new website! I am hoping that this will become a permanent place for my writing. I am aiming to not have a genre for it and for it to literally be about anything I want.
I would like it to be an extension of my journal - so if I journal anything interesting that day I can hash it out here. At that point it would become a linkable thing for other people to reference too.
Another significant part of this, is that it is my first proper foray into web design. I'm familiar with all the html crap yadayadayada from when I blogged in wordpress. But having working directly to the website is something I am looking forward to a lot.
Also, because I am writing directly to a html file, I am forgoing a lot of the luxuries I would normally have when, say, writing out something in a Google Docs doc.
